On a clear day, visitors to Mt. Tamalpais State Park can see the
Farallon Islands 25 miles out to sea, the Marin County hills, San
Francisco and the bay, hills and cities of the East Bay, and Mount
Diablo.

Gate National Recreation Area - GGNRA
Established in 1972, GGNRA’s 75,398 acres of land and water
encompass 59 miles of bay and ocean shoreline. Hiking, biking, camping
and bird watching are just a few of the activities to be enjoyed
in the park.

Gulch Farm
Green Gulch Farm Zen Center is a Buddhist practice center in the
Japanese Soto Zen tradition offering training in Zen meditation and
ordinary work. In addition to the temple program of zen and study,
it includes an organic farm and garden, as well as a guest house
and conference center.
The Pelican
Inn
The Pelican Inn is a romantic getaway over the hills to the beach...a
country inn, capturing the spirit of 16th century England's west
country. Friends meet in the pub for an ale and a game of darts after
a day at the beach.

to touch, taste, smell, hear and observe the animals, plants, sea
life and earth.
